Virtual Manufacturing Career Fair, May 6, 2021

The Tri-Association is excited to announce our first virtual manufacturing career fair hiring graduating students from across Eastern Ontario on May 6, 2021.

Students in specific trades, manufacturing and relatable industry programs have been invited to apply for jobs of over 35 local manufacturers’.

“We have invited graduating students from all across Eastern Ontario, including those graduating from high school to join us to learn about our industry, apply for jobs, be inspired by our keynote speaker, Marlon Shaw and enjoy a plant tour with Charlotte Products. Overall, a one stop shop to learn everything you can about careers in our advanced industry” states Northumberland Manufacturers Association Managing Director, Darla Price.

Eastern Ontario Colleges and Universities have also been invited to be a vendor at the Fair to showcase their coop/internship/apprenticeship programs to manufacturing guests.

“This is all about connecting our two groups and building relationships that last longer than the event day” exclaimed KMA Manager, Aleksandra de Oliveira.  Our Associations advocate for a strong connection between our industry and education and this event gives us the chance to continue that vision”.

Event Partner Tom Elliott of Kawartha Metals shares “We are proud this event is industry-driven and led and together we can share the amazing opportunities we have for our future workforce”.
