Town Circulates Small Business Owner Survey Focusing on Tourism Impacts

A tourism survey is currently circulating among local small business owners and tourism support organizations.

As part of a research project the Town of Cobourg is working with Laridae, a management consulting firm serving non-profit and public sector organizations to gather valuable feedback on how the tourism industry can benefit the region moving forward from the impacts of COVID-19. This project is fully funded through the FedDev Ontario Regional Relief Recovery Fund (RRRF).

The online survey is targeted towards small business owners and tourism support organizations to learn about their views, concerns and needs in respect to direct impacts on customer traffic, sales and revenue and overall success as a business. Residents can also participate.

Input provided will help shape potential business case development, best practices and new opportunities and solutions to address the needs of our local business community moving forward.

The survey is completely confidential and closes on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 4:30 p.m. EST. To access the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/JQXTFYS.
